Traditional methods process and bleach paper to the desired color using a compound of harmful chamicals such as chlorine and acid. Our paper, which is mainly crushed limestone, is naturally bright white. This eleiminates the blanching process, making the entire practice cleaner, more efficient, and kinder on the environment.

Our notebooks can be recycled, up-cycled, or revisited for inspiration. Along with the enviormental benefits and repurposed materials, our practice is made 100% sustainable, making our paper the perfect substitute to traditional wood-pulp paper, so make sure you place them in the right bin so that the materials are used once again.

Made primarily from calcium carbonate, the paper inside our notebooks & journals is water-repellent. The lattice energy of the compound is high compared to its hydration energy, in less nerdish words, the main componant of our paper is simply insoluble in water, making it perfect to note down those shower thoughts after all.

The simple method used to produce our stone paper eliminates the complex process of clearing land, growing trees, logging, and pulping. The result is an impressive 60% smaller carbon footprint. We top it off by planting a tree for each notebook we sell, getting a step closer to our carbon neutral objective.
